A lifelong seamstress, Linda has transformed her passion for dressmaking into the art of quilting, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques and tools. She believes quilting offers something for everyone and cherishes the deep, unique bond shared among quilters.
Nestled in the countryside of Palo Cedro, just outside Redding, California, Linda raised her two children and continues to call it home with her husband, Dave. As a former quilt shop owner in Redding, she now travels across the country—by land and sea—sharing her expertise. While she has a special place in her heart for quilt shops, she thrives on teaching at Quilt Festivals, conferences, cruises, guilds, and camps. According to Linda, she’s always ready to teach—anytime, anywhere!
Renowned for her quilting retreats in California, Linda is also known to take her expertise nationwide, answering invitations to lead retreats wherever she’s needed. Her motto? “My bags are packed—just send an invite!”
Her work has been featured in numerous quilting magazines, from showcasing her quilt designs and patterns to contributing “ad” quilts for fabric lines. She’s also had the honor of appearing on Simply Quilts for two seasons, earning plenty of reruns along the way. Linda’s philosophy? Stay flexible and embrace the possibilities.

My passion for paper crafting led me to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in 2010, and I absolutely love creating, teaching, and sharing new techniques. I also run Scrap Happens Retreats, where I bring fellow scrapbookers together for creativity and connection.
Beyond crafting, I enjoy hiking, bicycling, gardening, and cooking—always embracing the joy in life. My faith in Jesus guides me every day, and I’m grateful for every moment. Living life to the fullest and loving every bit of it!
